Customization starts when you select your Photo Book characteristics. Our hardcover Photo Books are a safe bet: they are available in multiple formats and you can completely customise the cover by either choosing one of our premium materials or designing a photographic cover in glossy or matte.

If you prefer to make a photograph the centrepiece of your Photo Book cover (or experiment with a collage), you can do that as well! Our Acrylic covers for the Professional Line Photo Books, for example, are handmade and a unique and special option.
You can also design a Portfolio Album that lets you change the order of the pages and order new ones, or a Softcover Photo Book if you would like a lighter and flexible cover. Of course, you will also be able to choose your favourite format (square, landscape, or portrait) and the surface for your inner pages, choosing from our high quality Fujifilm photo papers.

Every single Photo Book page can be tailored to your needs and style. Customise the background, the layout for your images, and add personal touches with cliparts and text. Your Photo Book, your design!
For maximum customisation, we recommend using the Saal Design desktop software or the online store. You will be able to either design your Photo Book from scratch with the empty template design mode, or get some help when it comes to layout with our two other design modes. You can find all the information here. For faster designs on the go, you can always use the iOS or Android app.
If you wish, you can also design your Photo Book in an external software downloading our templates and then easily uploading your project as a PDF. You will find more information in our Professional Zone.

Depending on the material you choose, you will be able to include an image (for example, if you choose the Acrylic Premium Gift Box) or add texts or cliparts to our high quality materials, like leatherette or natural linen. When it comes to designing your Premium Gift Box, the most important thing is that you choose the same format as your Photo Book, since they have been designed to perfectly fit that format.
